Job Duties

  • Develop and execute a community-growth and engagement strategy in alignment with brand objectives and overall Marketing Plan, including both organic and paid tactics
    • Manage the brand’s social channels including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, Google and Yelp
    • Create a social media strategy and post engaging content on behalf of the brand in accordance with brand voice and in a consistent and timely manner
    • Set and refine goals, and continuously monitor and report key statistics surrounding post-performance, fine-tuning strategies and tactics to optimize engagement and experience
    • Interact with the brand community to drive meaningful conversations, online and in real life, representing the company at various events (some travel required)
    • Deeply listen to community feedback and pain points to identify opportunities to more effectively engage them and meet their needs
  • On-board and develop new and junior team members as the Marketing team expands

Qualifications

  • 4-year degree (ideally Marketing or Communications) preferred but alternately will consider 5+ years of relevant work experience
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience with a successful track record of progressive advancement of responsibilities managing social media marketing or PR
  • Deep understanding of a customer’s Brand Awareness Journey, from observer > follower > fan > customer > advocate
  • High level of comfort with technology and the ability to quickly embrace, learn and master new software systems
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, using multiple cloud-based systems and tools including Dropbox, G Suite, WordPress, at least one type of EPS system and Facebook’s advertising platform is required
  • Social is 24/7/365 so this is not a M-F / 8-5 role. We embrace work/life blend and support all team members to do what they need to do to take care of themselves while crushing their work (and personal) goals. That being said, being “on” nights and weekends is a given. The right candidate will be an extrovert who thrives on connection and interacting with a community and passionately embraces this “always-on” lifestyle.
