Job Title: Office Manager

Summary:  As the Office Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and supporting the day-to-day operations of our So Good So You Plant Facility: designing and implementing policies and procedures, interfacing with security and facilities teams, handling shipping and receiving, and maintaining inventory of supplies. You will also support site leaders with scheduling, and lead the planning of team events.  General office hours are M-F, 7:30am-4pm with occasional needs to work outside of the designated office hours.

Act as the effective company point of contact for all in-office needs, including:

  • Serve as the point person for office duties including: cleaning, mailing, and ordering/stocking supplies
  • HR Administrative support including keeping and maintaining personnel records, assist with open enrollment communications, onboarding new employees, compliance practices and policies
  • Assist with planning in-house or off-site activities, such as lunches, parties, celebrations, and conferences
  • Run various errands on a weekly basis (i.e. pick up groceries, bagels, lunches, etc)
  • Assist with office seating arrangement planning to ensure we are utilizing our office to the fullest potential
  • Provide support to the leadership team with administrative tasks including formatting and posting documents, ensuring internal postings are up-to-date and ensuring our virtual document storage is organized and easy to reference
  • Assist with writing notecards and packages from the Sales + Marketing Team 
  • Assist with Month End Inventory with the Sales + Marketing Team 
  • Attend and participate in weekly team meetings
  • Oversee employee perks administration and keep our internal org chart up to date 
  • Generate new ideas to promote company culture
  • Greet all clients and visitors and manage the reception area
  • Ensure that supplies are stocked and the office stays clean and tidy
  • Take initiative to seek out ways to improve and become more efficient
  • Other duties and tasks as assigned


  • A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information, and professionalism in dealing with leaders, employees and vendors are important, as is the ability to be flexible and change direction seamlessly and handle multiple tasks at once
  • You will complete high volumes of tasks with minimal guidance or supervision while maintaining awareness of deadline sensitivity.  
  • You are skilled at anticipating problems, creating contingency plans, managing multiple priorities, problem solving and organizing logistics. 
  • You are enthusiastic and have a proven track record for creating and maintaining a positive work environment while simultaneously motivating those around you  
  • You welcome the opportunity to take on varied and exciting new projects and also learn new skills
  • You excel and take effective action without having to know the total picture, and efficiently and proactively solve difficult or complex problems that affect employees


  • 3+ years of office management experience
  • Experience working in a similar company environment (company of 30+ employees) is a plus
  • Organized and operationally minded
  • Follows through and executes consistently 
  • Savvy problem solver
  • Must have reliable transportation during the workday
  • Must be able to safely lift up to 40 lbs and can comfortably work in cold temperatures within our production facility
  • Self-starter; comfortable making decisions and getting things done with little supervision
  • Ability to build and iterate on processes where they don’t exist
  • Thrives in a dynamic environment
  • Highly effective, proactive, and creative written and verbal communicator
  • Possesses a familiarity and comfort with technology: Mac/Apple hardware systems, Google applications and Microsoft suite; has experience or aptitude in basic technology troubleshooting
  • Comfortable with technology and able to quickly learn, embrace and master new software systems to provide support for our growing company with both in-person and remote team members
  • Given the changing pandemic environment, you may be required to wear a mask during working hours to ensure the safety of yourself and others
