Operations Coordinator

The Operations Coordinator is responsible for supporting the operations team by maintaining accurate systems, building reports, analyzing data, and coordinating essential daily/weekly activities. This position reports directly to the COO and is a key role to ensure our systems are kept current and accurate. 

Department Duties 

Import all customer orders each day and ensure they are entered correctly; resolve any questions or discrepancies immediately 

  • Learn the ERP / Inventory control system and understand key functions
  • Manage and track orders through the system from receipt, picking, shipping, etc.
  • Help analyze system data and build reporting packages for the team 
  • Learn integrated EDI system for receiving and invoicing orders 
  • Help maintain accurate inventory 
  • Help facilitate data exports/imports into other systems as needed 
  • Help manage partner HPP facility product flow & priorities 
  • Assist with special projects as assigned 
  • Assist warehouse/dock/production teams as needed 


  • Tech native; easily understands and learns new systems; familiar with data-driven applications 
  • Experience data mining, analyzing data, building reports 
  • Highly organized and process-oriented. Driven to complete tasks quickly, efficiently, and accurately
  • Ability to handle surges in workload and works well under pressure 
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, proportions, percentages, area, etc. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. 
  • Strong time management skills 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Must be able to work independently and stay on task as well as in a team environment.
  • Above average computer skills, familiarity with MS Office programs, email, etc. Familiarity with ERP and/or accounting software will be considered a plus 

Work Environment 

Office and occasionally exposed to cold as our cooler is at 38F 

Education and Experience Required: 

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. 


  • Food Manufacturing Experience 
  • Supply Chain, Order processing, ERP, Analyst, Experience

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment 
  • Compliance with all company and regulatory policies/guidelines relating to associate safety, food safety, and food quality
