Position Summary:

So Good So You is seeking a dynamic individual to join our fast growing company as Logistics Manager. This role has a key focus: ensure on-time and in-full deliveries to our key grocery, mass and natural/organic customer segments. To succeed in this role, you must have exceptional organizational, people and problem-solving skills.

Location:

Minneapolis, MN

Primary Responsabilities:

  • Plan and track shipment of all PO’s according to customer requirements
  • Communicate daily and weekly with warehouse teams to track and prioritize orders to facilitate on-time departure
  • Communicate daily and weekly with logistics teams to track on-time deliveries
  • Manage and maintain finished goods inventory levels at multiple locations
  • Develop processes + workflows for logistics management & warehouse management
  • Develop and share logistics scorecards and reporting to essential internal teams
  • Develop logistics tracking system to record delivery & PO updates
  • Track and document all delivery discrepancies and drive financial resolution with responsible party (internal and external)
  • Onboard new logistics and warehouse partners
  • Manage and resolve logistics emergencies promptly
  • Build relationships with all third-party logistics and warehousing teams
  • Implement solutions internally and with logistics partners to reduce supply chain costs and customer deductions

Qualifications:

The right candidate will have 2-4 years of perishable supply chain or logistics experience with a manufacturer or logistics company. Perishable food industry experience is a plus! This position is based in our Minneapolis, MN headquarters.

Experience:

  • Worked for or with companies selling consumer goods or food products to major grocery, mass or natural foods customers
  • Proven understanding of refrigerated transportation
  • Worked in similar roles coordinating with outside transportation brokers, warehouses, etc.
  • Successful track record working in high stakes environments where the pressure is on
  • Proven customer service mindset and ability to rally others to consistently perform at a high level
  • An understanding of how to use interpersonal skills to get results (carrot & stick)
  • Proven problem solver who’s comfortable working in the trenches
  • Built, documented, deployed and enforced processes for internal and external teams
  • Has successfully worked with several outside companies simultaneously with critical inter-dependence

Other Position Highlights:

  • Role requires some ‘after hours’ / weekend monitoring
  • Position requires some travel (15%)
  • Reliable transportation required
