WHY WE’RE DONATING UP TO $10K TO AN ENVIRONMENTAL ORGANIZATION OF YOUR CHOICE

Two things we really love taking care of here at SGSY- our bodies and the planet. That’s why on April 15th, 2021 we’re kicking off our first-ever week-long fitness challenge, #MilesforMotherEarth.

What is #MilesforMotherEarth?

#MilesforMotherEarth is a week-long fitness challenge held virtually via Strava. We are including our broader community, because we know we are so good together, and let’s be honest – we know more is merrier when it comes to fitness challenges!. For every collective mile walked, ran, biked, or skipped by our So Good So You community between 4/15-4/22 and logged on Strava, we will donate $1 (up to a total of $10,000!) to an environmental organization chosen by the individual with the most miles.* The winner will be announced on 4/23.

Since our love for the planet is both broad and deep, we’ve pre-selected 17 different environmental organizations for the individual with the most miles to choose the collective donation to go to. All of these organizations have scored 85% or higher on Charity Navigator, the world’s largest independent nonprofit evaluator.*

These organizations are:

Acadia Center, Communities for a Better Environment, Conservation Lands Foundation, Environmental and Energy Study Institute, Environmental Defense Fund, Friends of the Earth, International Anti-Poaching Foundation Inc, National Forest Foundation, National Park Trust, Oceana, Pure Earth, Sierra Club Foundation, Trust for Public Land, Waterkeeper Alliance, WildAid, Wild Earth Allies, and World Resources Institute.

Read more about each organization HERE.
